Are You New to the Web... You don't have to take my word for what I'm writing here to NEW Internet entrepreneurs. In fact, I suggest that you take just about everything you read on the web with a "grain of salt" because frankly there are a lot of people out there who really don't KNOW what they're talking about... but say they do. But you will find, over time, what I have found to be TRUE. So I am passing this information along to you now in hopes that it will short-cut your road to Internet profits. There are basically two kinds of "webpreneurs." WEBSITE OWNERS and AFFILIATES. Website owners are frequently also Affiliates but there is a whole community of just "Affiliate Marketers" and many of them make tremendous incomes. Before you dive head-long into the eCommerce world, take a few minutes and decide which way you want to go (this doesn't have to be a FINAL decision but you need to PLAN your activities so it's important for you to know whether you will be a SITE OWNER or not). I AM A SITE OWNER AND AN AFFILIATE. What does that mean? That means I OWN this domain (HayfordConsulting.com), I lease a server that hosts this and my numerous other web properties, I CREATE MY OWN CONTENT (I write articles and find topics and "angles" to - hopefully - uniquely present), I do all my own "webmastering" (YES, I've had to learn at least BASIC HTML programming, java scripting, ftp, cgi, URL forwarding, pop email accounts, jpg, gif, zip... well, you get the picture.) ANYONE can learn this stuff, but like anything new (and a bit technical) it takes TIME to learn and to become reasonably competent (and that's all you have to be is competent enough to get the job done - not EXPERT enough to SELL your services as a "webmaster"). If RIGHT NOW you know virtually nothing about the technical aspect of creating and maintaining YOUR OWN WEBSITE, then I strongly urge you to do either one of two things: 1. Build your website on the RIGHT FOUNDATION from the beginning (I can't tell you how much I wish I had known about this guy when I started making websites) by using SITE BUILD IT, and all of their resources, to host your site and provide you with the tools and DIRECTION from the GROUND UP that will lead you (in the shortest amount of time!) down the path to building a PROFITABLE web business. Again, you don't have to take my word for it but there's a REASON why Site Build It is AT OR NEAR THE TOP of every Affiliate Marketer's list of BEST PRODUCTS: It is so fundamentally sound and PROVEN TO WORK. Don't go through all those years of trial and error that I have gone through (of course I'm STILL TRYING!). Believe me you WILL SAVE A FORTUNE in TIME and MONEY by STARTING YOUR WEBSITE WITH SITE BUILD IT! or... 2. Start out by being an Affiliate Marketer, in which case you can FORGET all about learning the webmastering stuff (for now) and CONCENTRATE on MARKETING! If EARNING MONEY QUICKLY is your top priority, then Affiliate Marketing is the way to go. There's still going to be a learning curve but learning how to drive traffic to a webste that has already been proven to be an effective "closer" and income producer - and is provided to you FREE - is ten-fifty-one hundred times easier and faster than learning how to build and maintain a website. Now, if you decide to start out as an Affiliate Marketer (I guarantee you that you'll be running your own website before too long anyway), again, START ON THE RIGHT FOUNDATION! (I wish I had found THIS GUY long before I did!): Read every word of this FREE eBook and FOLLOW every step in it! Don't be like me and flop around like a fish out of water, willy-nilly trying everything that so-called "experts" told me to try. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that most of these people don't have very valid tips and tools. That's not the point. The point is that driving visitors to your website requires a multi-faceted, systematic, methodical approach and constant adjustments along the way. But BOTH of these guys' (Ken Evoy and Graham Hamer) products I am absolutely recommending as the BEST WAY TO GET STARTED (hey, I've found them, halleluja!! - but I wasted a lot of time, money and effort until I did - and you don't have to make that mistake!). So, if you are new to Internet Marketing but, like everyone, desperately want to have passive income, residual checks coming in month after month, start on the right foot and dramatically shorten the learning (and failure!) curve. To recap: 1. If you are going to own and operate your own website, build it with Site Build It! 2. If you are going to start today to make money as an Affiliate Marketer, start today by reading and implementing this FREE eBook! As someone famous said: "You can dooooooooit."
