According to a recent study done by the Pew Research Center, there are over 39 million people living with physical disabilities in the United States. 40% of them will be diagnosed with obesity and over one-third will suffer from depression within their lifetime. Physical activity, social stimulation, and community are important factors for any able-bodied human but it becomes increasingly important for young athletes, adults, and veterans that are left with limited options.

Bridge II Sports is a non-profit organization in Durham, North Carolina that offers adaptive sports programs for youth and adults with physical disabilities.
